Scholastic Programs for Reentry
Education Outreach Initiative

SPRee Overview

SPRee is designed to offer a number of programs and learning strategies to facilitate participants reentry into secondary level educational opportunities.  The SPRee instructor is prepared to work individually with adults and youth who left school prior to earning a high school diploma. Based on the number of credits earned, the learner's work history, and the learner's academic background, the Spree instructor will design a program leading to a high school diploma, a Deneral Education Diploma (GED), or an external diploma.

SPRee programs will be developed around the needs of the learner. Programs can include:

  • Traditional classroom instruction;
  • Evening instruction;
  • Supervised home-learning;
  • Adult education;
  • Or Computer assisted instruction at the Clay County High School Technology Opportunities Center.
